Space Survivor - 2D Shooter
This is my submission to the 2D Shooter Assignment for Coursera's Game Design and Development with Unity.
These are the changes I made to the base game after completing the tutorial modifications (I had to do 3 but I was too deep into it to let it go):
- Procedural Game Background
- Procedural Wall positioning
- Added 2 new victory conditions:
- Survive the timer
- Kill the boss
- 5 Random level up power-ups:
- Damage
- Penetration
- Fire Rate
- Rotating bombs
- Projectile Size
- Enemies spawn faster as time passes by
- Enemies always spawn in a circle around the player within the level
- Arrow points at closest Enemy when offscreen
- Sound revamp and music pitches up when getting closer to goal
- Added UI elements for time, XP and Health
